Expanding Language & Literacy for Emergent Communicators

In this training, participants will learn about using evidence-based strategies to build language and literacy skills for emergent communicators.

DCN invites teachers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), related-service providers, paraprofessionals, and administrators to an in-person symposium focused on using evidence-based strategies to build language and literacy skills for emergent communicators. This symposium will focus on applying these strategies to our examples and the cases you bring. Work as a team to develop assessments and interventions for your students. Inspire each other and bring back tons of ideas!

  • Engage in hands-on activities
  • Bring your own case studies (BYOCS)
  • Collaborate inter-professionally (inter- and intra-district)
