Introduction to Concussions (Part 1)
This is an introductory session on identifying concussions and when to call them traumatic brain injuries. 75-95% of brain injuries do not result in loss of consciousness but could still be concussions.

About the Trainer
Natalie Jocic, M.S., LEP, ABSNP is a school psychologist with CA Department of Education's (CDE) Diagnostic Center of Northern CA (DCN). Her background is in early childhood education, and she has been a district-based school psychologist and program specialist before transitioning to Diagnostic Center ten years ago. She has had the opportunity to be part of CDE's Student Mental Health Policy Workgroup, present at various national and state conferences, and to coach school district staff for their counseling enriched programs, autism programs, and best practices for cognitive assessments.
