Is a psychologist with a wide variety of experience in the field of education. She has taught at both elementary and secondary levels, and has served as a school psychologist and program specialist in local school districts. Ms. Dawson is currently an assistant director at DCN and, in her additional role as secondary specialist, has participated for several years on the California Department of Education’s Advisor Board for WorkAbility I. Ms. Dawson has written various articles and co-authored a chapter on transition from high school to post-secondary options. In March 2005, she received the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP) award for Outstanding School Psychologist of the year.
